Our national campaign helps raise sarcoma awareness by promoting early detection and education initiatives.
Inspired by Jamie Elliot, a USA Pickleball Ambassador, we are a nationwide network of sarcoma patient advocacy groups dedicated to helping others navigate their cancer journeys. We are proud partners with USA Pickleball, the Chondrosarcoma Foundation, SARC: Sarcoma Alliance for Research Through Collaboration, Haystack Project, NORD Rare Cancer Coalition, The Osteosarcoma Institute, Sarcoma Coalition, Sarcoma Foundation of America and the Task Force on Rare Diseases.

Sarcoma is a rare type of cancer that originates in the body’s connective tissues, including bones, muscles, tendons, fat, and blood vessels. It is classified into two main categories: soft tissue sarcomas and bone/cartilage (chondro) sarcomas.
Diagnosis typically involves imaging tests, such as X-rays, MRIs, or CT scans, followed by a biopsy to confirm the presence of cancerous cells. Early detection of sarcoma is vital, as it can significantly improve treatment outcomes and survival rates.
Prompt intervention can prevent the spread of the disease and enhance the effectiveness of treatment options.
Jamie Eliott’s adventurous life includes successful careers as a flight attendant and a Hollywood stuntwoman. After being diagnosed with stage 4 chondrosarcoma in 2017, Jamie underwent multiple surgeries but remained determined. A passionate pickleball player, she transitioned to wheelchair sports and co-founded a non-profit called “Para Pickleball Program.” As an official USA Pickleball Ambassador, Jamie continues to inspire others with her motto, “You can’t just sit around,” and believes pickleball, along with faith, family, and friends, has saved her life.
