In its early stages a sarcoma can appear as a painless lump (typically in legs and arms). As it grows it may press on nerves, muscles, or organ leading to pain, restricted mobility or difficulty breathing.
LUMP can start small and grow larger than a golf ball and does not go away.
PAIN can be dull or sharp, constant or intermittent and tends to get worse at night. The pain does not go away and gets worse over time. Many people (especially athletes) ignore the pain, attributing it to overexertion, a fall, or a minor injury.
RESTRICTED MOBILITY hard to walk or use legs, feet, toes, fingers, hands, arms without pain.
OTHER SYMPTOMS INCLUDE hard swelling, fatigue, weight loss, trouble breathing that gets worse over time and does not go away.
